OPEN OUR HEARTS

The second month of the year has arrived. The Chinese New Year is upon us and everything is forecasting that we will have a great year ahead. So far I am finding that the weather is not as bad as other years and things are definitely developing. We have a new president in the US and boy is there disruptions but not as much as I thought there would be. The people have spoken and let us see what he brings about. Who knows? Change is what is in store. Changes are for my writers group. So much is being offered to us now and we are changing status to ensure we are part of the Mississauga city scene. We are being recognized as a group of hard working people and they are mostly having a great time. It amazes me how it is never 100%. Some are not able to join in with the rest of us but want us to adapt to them and even they don’t know what they want. They bring their misgivings to us and we can’t help them until they start helping themselves. Valentine Day is near and this is the “Heart” month so let us open our hearts and learn how to be more accepting of others. The world needs to be more loving. We had our heart rendering event in Quebec where 6 people died because of their religion – this is not acceptable. We live in Canada and if we don’t start accepting others we will end up like the rest of the world – unsafe. Canada is the country people want to feel safe in so let us all keep this country safe.
